Siebe Rijploeg

In 1964, the founder of REA, Siebe Rijploeg developed a plastic storage rack. It solely consisted of round tubes. With this design, Siebe was the first offer a rack made completely out of plastic, which met a strong demand in the food industry. Developments in innovation and quicker production techniques followed eachother up in quick succession. To this day tt is a continuous process which demands constant attention.  

International recognition

Entering the international trade fair IFFA in Frankfurt/M. lay the foundation of worldwide recognition. The unique system was deemed revolutionary compared to metal and wooden storgage systems.
In time, the REA system's exceptional qualities were recognised in other segments of the market as well. The plastic products were innovative in swimming pools, sport accommodations, recreation and revalidation centres and proved their worth there.
