Sustainability
At REA, sustainability is something we value highly. We are a manufacturer of plastic storage systems and find it important to make products of the highest quality that last for a long time.
We use ‘virgin’ material to manufacture our products, so that we can always deliver a product without any colour variations. Interested to know what else we do in the area of sustainability? Then read on!
This is how we process our residual materials
At REA, we keep residual waste to a minimum. During the production process, bars are cut to size for a perfect fit, which yields a small number of leftover pieces. We do this by purchasing a large number of different lengths, which allows us to use them optimally for the numerous lengths we need. We carefully collect the leftover pieces in crates and, once enough have been collected, send them to a recycling company in the region.
We also process the released sawdust in a responsible way. It is extracted and collected in a separate container, after which a specialised container company takes it away for recycling. This is how we ensure that all residual material is recycled in an environmentally friendly way.
Rock-solid quality
At REA, quality comes first. Our plastic storage systems are designed to last for years without losing their strength or functionality. They can withstand intensive use, wide temperature fluctuations and chemical cleaning.
In addition, our products are NSF certified, which guarantees that they are safe and suitable for hygienic storage in sectors such as the food, health and leisure industries.
By choosing REA, you are not only investing in quality and safety, but also in a sustainable solution that will last for years to come without any negative impact on the environment!
